Skin Care Tips

Take note of these skin care tips to ensure that you have the best possible skin. Care for your entire body and you will be very grateful in years to come!

  • Keep out of the sun – The sun has an amazingly damaging effects on the skin. Models also try hard to keep their skin out of the sun, and on the occasions that they need a tan, they usually get it out of a bottle. When outside every model will tell you that they use a high SPF factor suncream to ensure that they keep sun damage to a minimum. The UV rays from sunlight also damage the Elastin in the skin, reducing its ability to snap back into place as it is stretched, leading to increased wrinkles. Another aging effect the sun has is to reduce your skins ability to sweat, drying it out dramatically. Drier skin ages even quicker, which is bad news for models.
  • Don't smoke – Smoking can lead to all kinds of health problems and these are easily seen in the skin. Skin dries out and wrinkles develop on people as young as 20 around the mouth thanks to the drawing on a cigarette. Thankfully if you quit smoking you can halt the damage and your skin can even recover and heal, allowing you to keep that healthy young glow for much longer!
  • Keep drinking lots of water – Water does wonders for the complexion and helps to keep the skin looking rejuvenated. Water also keeps the skin hydrated and maintains elasticity, preventing the formation of wrinkles.
  • Maintain your skins moisture – Moisturizers are for all skin types, not just those with dry and flaky skin. Moisturizers are essential for the entire body but are especially required on the face, hands and neck to ensure even aging and texture.
  • Don't drink alcohol – Alcohol is excellent at dehydrating the skin, which as we know from previous skin care tips will cause aging and wrinkles. It can also enlarge blood vessels close to the skin giving you an uneven skin tone.
