A stampede took place in New York at auditions for popular television show "America's Next Top Model", hosted by former supermodel Tyra Banks. Six people were injured in the chaos, and two woman and a man have been arrested on charges of disorderly conduct and inciting a riot.

The incident occurred when a car drew up alongside the queue for the auditions and someone inside shouted "fire". A man jumped out of the vehicle and began to snatch the bags of people attending the audition.

Many women fled the scene in a panic and the street was reportedly littered with shoes, clothes, sleeping bags, chairs and other items. Police were forced to call a halt to the auditions that were taking place at the Manhattan hotel. Many attendees were angry at the cancellation and refused to leave.

Jssica Paravati commented to Fox News "Everyone is really angry, it's not fair. We're all still standing here. It makes absolutely no sense. No one came out here and explained anything."
