Launched in July 2003, Absolute Models & Actors Ltd is the brainchild of
media guru and fashion expert Zoë Frost. Managing director Zoë has worked for
some of the biggest commercial names in the business, from top London modelling
agencies to one of the UK's most creative advertising companies, TBWA.
Having worked in the modelling industry for a number of years, Zoë began to
feel increasingly frustrated with current practices. It was time for a change.
She wanted to develop a more creative approach to modelling, working with a select
number of clients and artists to build mutually beneficial relationships. The
result is Absolute Models & Actors, a modelling agency unlike any other. One of the qualities that make our modelling agency unique is our size. By
limiting the number of artists on our books, we have been able to develop a one-on-one
relationship with each of our models and actors. This Personal Manager approach
is rare among UK model agencies but we think it affords us a better insight into
the individual talents of each and every artist we represent, and it is this knowledge
which enables us to anticipate the needs of our clients.
Although we feel that our books contain a sufficiently varied selection of
models and actors to cater for even the most demanding of modelling briefs, it
is conceivable that a client's requirements may exceed the limits of our books.
Should this occasion arise, Absolute Models & Actors are happy to hire in
the supplementary models or actors on a one-off basis. This saves the client the
needless expense of hiring two modelling agencies. Our models are hand-picked not only for their looks and personality, but for
their attitude. They are trained to take their career very seriously. They treat
their work with the same degree of professionalism that an actor does: they study
the brief carefully beforehand, they are well-mannered and on time, and they are
extremely hard-working. All have experience of working before the camera in everything
from photo shoots to press ads, and many have modelled for fashion shows and at
live events.
Similarly, our actors are selected both for their looks and for their abilities.
All have trained professionally and each boasts a wealth of experience in all
forms of media from commercials, live presentation and publicity campaigns, to
film, television and voice over work. The majority of our actors are full Equity
members and many can be seen in The Spotlight. |
